Perfect Web Host for Small Website?

I%26#039;m making a website for a client who runs a small charity. The site requires very little space, has only one page (I use Ajax to update the body), and won%26#039;t use very much bandwith. I also need to purchase the domain, and web based e-mail is a plus. The only other add-ons that would be nice are PHP and MySQL support, though they aren%26#039;t necessary and most hosts support them anyway. I%26#039;ve heard great things about Dreamhost, but even the lowest plan ($7.95 a month) is overkill for this project. Any suggestions?

depending on which charity, there are several groups that will host you for free! I know I use http://onlinepolicy.org/

Perfect Web Host for Small Website?

use Yahoo%26#039;s Small Business website builder. It%26#039;s good but its also inexpensive.

Other Replys:I%26#039;ve heard microsoft is offering free domains, space, etc (all your requirements). I would go check that out if I were you.

Other Replys:You can try http://www.instantptp.com/ptp.asp?userna... .I use this webhost too.

Other Replys:There is one that I used all the time which would be perfect for your use and its FREE.

It%26#039;s called www.freehostia.com

It has many of the features that a paid webhost has, and maybe better. plenty of bandwidth, and NO ads.

Enjoy your free hosting.

They only charge $5.95/month and they offer %26quot;a free Domain Name%26quot; and installing service called %26quot;Fantastico%26quot;. By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer %26quot;Free Website Builder%26quot; as well.

Visit the site to check details.

Domains

Following site is quite good to register domains as price is reasonable with free privacy. Some charge about $5/ year just for free privacy.

IPOWER http://www.anurl.com/?TXIBE

Other Replys:I%26#039;ve used Dreamhost for several years, and often recommend them to clients. They had some growing pains last year that resulted in a bit of downtime, but have since upgraded their systems and facilities, and everything has been great since then.

If you%26#039;re concerned about the monthly cost, use the following promo code to get up to $90 off hosting fees:

Promo code: wordpressdeal

I believe that code is valid for all of February and March, and is valid whether you want to use WordPress or not.

Dreamhost supports PHP and MySQL, as well as Ruby on Rails and one-click installations of many popular packages like WordPress. Their support is extremely responsive, and they%26#039;ve been very good about customer communication via their blog.

Other Replys:I found $6.95 per year http://domains.techedgeindia.com
